Hardly Strictly 9 adds more free talent

Any doubt as to what is the best San Francisco based, bluegrass/folk/rock oriented, free music festival was further put to rest today with the latest slew of lineup additions to Hardly Strictly 9. As we told you last month, the 2009 incarnation, which is set to go down between October 2nd and 4th at Golden Gate Park, already included Billy Bragg, Okkervil River, Dr. Dog, the Del McCoury Band and Lyle Lovett. Now it also includes  Robyn Hitchcock, Steve Earle, Emmylou Harris, Amadou & Mariam, Robert Earl Keen, and Ricky Skaggs — not to be confused with Boz Scaggs (no relation) who is also playing. MC Hammer is set to perform (no joke!) as well, as is some dude named Tom Morello.

Yeah, so did we mention this whole thing is free? The entire bill, laid out in beautifully in alphabetical order, can be found right here.
