Late Night Lobotomy (Week of 7/6)
Yet another holiday has come and gone. We saw fireworks, we ate too much, we might have imbibed too much. We probably should’ve taken Monday off of work. Either way, no government-sanctioned days off until Labor Day. Sigh.
Luckily a few shows are back with new episodes this week, even though plenty are still in reruns (ahem, Fallon). But the ones that are back are worth checking out, so all’s well. Maxwell will show Letterman what it means to be sensitive and soulful. Meanwhile, Andrew Bird will blow America’s mind with his whistling abilities. And if you feel like remembering what life was like in 2000 when rap-rock was popular, check out the rerun of Linkin Park on Kimmel.
