When you perform in front of the President of the United States, I guess you got to do something special. For the Foo Fighters that something special was debuting a new song. During their Fourth of July performance on the South Lawn of the White House, Dave Grohl and Co. debuted a brand new selection, entitled “Wheels”. As Grohl notes during the introduction, “The song is about that feeling when the wheels touch the ground and you’re like ‘Oh God, I’m glad that’s over with.’” Heavy stuff for sure… thank goodness someone snuck a camcorder through that crack White House security, so I don’t have to do any more explaining…
