For one day only, The Cribs are giving away “We Were Aborted”, the first single off their upcoming, Johnny Marr-featuring new album, Ignore the Ignorant and the same song frontman Ryan Jarman told NME that was “the first song that The Cribs ever wrote with Johnny, literally the first thing we did, just plugged in and this came straight out. I think that because of that it has retained a lot of urgency which is something we have always tried to maintain. That said, it’s not the track most representative of the new record by any means, I think it’s the one that most people will recognise as The Cribs opposed to some of the other tracks on the record though” is available as a free digitial download via thecribs.com.
