“New” Michael Jackson song revealed

In the first example of what should be a bounty of unreleased songs and demos that will begin trickling out in the coming months, TMZ have released a clip of a ‘new’ Michael Jackson song, titled “A Place With No Name”. The selection is, in fact, a loose cover version of 1970’s band America’s “A Horse With No Name”.

Several years ago, America’s manager gave Jackson permission to record a version of the number one song, which judging by Jackson’s voice has the deeper tones and the backing choir suggests that this may have been recorded in the Invincible era- 2001.

“The band was honored that Michael chose to do their song and they hope it becomes available for all Michael’s fans to hear,” said Jim Morey, the band’s manager.
