Inaugural Beta Festival scrapped

Just days before the inaugural Beta Festival was scheduled to bring the likes of Ghostland Observatory, VHS or Beta, The Juan McLean, Vega and others to Birmingham, Alabama, organizers have decided to cancel the event. “Due to circumstances beyond our control, Beta Fest has temporarily delayed,” a note on the festival’s website reads.

That being said, all is not lost. Many of the festival performers, including Treasure Fingers, Vega and Your Dirty Habit will play Birmingham on Saturday, July 25th at M-Lounge for an event called Lil’ Beta.
