Brand New unveils brand new tour dates

With a brand new Daisy in hand, the gentlemen of Brand New have unveiled a lengthy North American tour in support of their forthcoming studio album. A week after the September 22nd release of Daisy, the Long Island outfit will embark on a two month endeavor that will take the rockers across the U.S. and Canada through late November. Highlights include an appearance at this year’s Voodoo Music Experience in New Orleans and a previously announced hometown show at the Nassau Coliseum (it sold 6,000+ tickets in the first 24 hours!)

Joining Brand New on the tour will be some rather big names, including Manchester Orchestra, Thrice, and Glassjaw.

Tickets for the newly announced dates will go on sale beginning Monday, August 10th via Ticketmaster.com.

  1. I saw brand new at the north satr bar in philly - its the smallest venue ive ever seen a show and also the best - Brand new puts on an intense show - the band in general are insanely talented - their lyrics alone are well written and intelligent! guess everyone has an opinion though - After the show my ex and I met Jesse and he was chill as hell - happy to sign an autograph and b.s. for a few minutes

  2. I have to agree with these guys as well. I was there and I have seen Brand New 5 times now and they totally sucked that day. Thrice on the other hand, they know how to put on a show.

  3. I totally agree with Anonymous on the Lolla set. It was a huge disappointment and I also vowed that I’d never support them again. Jesse acted like a child even though their limited set sounded decent until he almost killed the drummer by whipping his guitar and walking off stage.

  4. Are Brand New really that big? Nassau Coliseum? Wow. Their Lolla set last year was a major disappointment, I was really looking forward to them and Jesse got pissed off and left when they still had another half hour left. He was mad because a lot of the people there were just camping out for RATM, but he should have just sucked it up. He even told everyone that we should have gone and seen Explosions in the Sky (they were playing at the same time). Now I wish I did.

So yeah, never seeing them again.

  5. Playing some pretty big venues of this tour, definitely a band on the upswing.
