Seeing as that nearly every other classic punk band has been in the headlines of late, it only makes sense that Chicago’s Naked Raygun is making news as well.

Basically, for the first time in nearly 17 years, the quartet has written new songs and sometime soon, it will the studio, for the first time in 12 years, to record them. They will be offered as part of a 7” series, with release number one set for this fall.

Then, just because it can, Naked Raygun will re-enter the studio to begin work on the followup to 1990′s Raygun, Naked  Raygun.

So, in summary, the coming months will in fact see Naked Raygun doing something other than touring, though the band will be doing that as well.
