Them Crooked Vultures album coming October 23rd?
We know that Them Crooked Vultures is a brand new supergroup featuring the Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl, Queens of the Stone Age’s Josh Homme, and Led Zeppelin’s John Paul Jones. We also know that the high-profile trio will be making its debut this Sunday night at an official Lollapalooza aftershow.
What we don’t know is… everything else. But thanks to a recently released new promo video (via Antiquiet), one more answer now might be known. In the video, as you’ll see below, Them Crooked Fingers make reference to something called Never Deserved The Future and the date of October 23, 2009. Now, common logic will tell you that the former is a pretty decent name for an album title, while the latter could be its release date — though, October 23rd is a Friday, as opposed to Tuesday when most albums are released.
Either way it certainly looks like something is coming.
As for the question of whether the band will support the release with a tour, nothing is confirmed, but current rumors say dates are on the way for both the U.S. and U.K.

I hope this will be the band that will save Rock n’ Roll…
If so then why does subscribing to their mailing list give the message “Deserve The Future”? The title is definitely something.
The vid isnt from the band- some fan who wanted to screw with us made it. Also, the info about the release date and album is also false. The band is real, they are playing Sunday, everything else is a lie.
Fuck yeah! I havent been excited for any new music in ages!! This will be sick!!!!!!
a-freaking-mazing. that aftershow sold out in seconds
Oct 23 eh? Maybe a stop a Voodoo the next weekend to play live? Homme’s other band he plays around with, Eagles of Death Metal , is playing there! Now that would be a cool Halloween weekend in New Orleans!
new stuff, and maybe new takes on old stuff also… we will see won’t we.
Are they just playing Zeppelin songs or are they putting out new stuff?
jizzed my pants
