Check Out: Jack White makes solo debut with “Fly Farm Blues”
Well, it’s official. Little brother Jack White is a solo artist.
This past Tuesday, the White Stripes/Raconteurs/Dead Weather figurehead took some time to show what he can do when not surrounded by others. Not surprising, the result is unbelievably awesome, a gritty and punchy number called “Fly Farm Blues” that would make the blues rockers of yesteryear proud.
As previously reported, the song was penned at the request of director Davis Guggenheim, who has been working with White, along with U2’s the Edge and Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page, on the guitar rock documentary, It Might Get Loud. It was written and recorded in just 10 minutes.
“Fly Farm Blues” is currently available now on one-sided 7″ and digitally via Third Man Records.
Boy, Jack done good for himself.
Sounds a lot like ball and biscuit. I like it though.
