The man was a guiness, and took guitars to a new level. His passing is a loss for the world
Les was probably one of the most important innovators of the electric guitar. He was a legend and an inspiration. He will be sadly missed.

Sad day for music today.
Terrible loss of a great man.
Without his innovations, stereo mixes as we know and love them today might not exist; all we would have are binaural recordings.
Despite arthritis and a broken arm that was pinned in playing position many decades ago, he still played out every week at an age when most are barely able to write their own name with clarity. He just wouldn’t let anything get in the way of what he wanted to do.
Amazing man. Truly amazing man. We all owe him a lot of thanks for his innovations and inspiration.
Goodbye Les, and thanks for all the ideas, innovations, and especially the great music.
Last time I saw LP he was sitting in with Slash and Carole King
