Perez Hilton rounds up all the musicians who won’t give him a black eye for U.S. tour
In an effort to rid himself of a (this time figurative) black eye, celebrity blogger Perez Hilton is taking the likes of Ida Maria and Ladyhawke and putting them on the road to once again demonstrate how with it he is.
The two lovely ladies, along with Julian Perretta, Eric Hutchinson, and Frankmusik, will be a part of the Perez Hilton Presents Tour 2009. That’s right, the group of an American, a Kiwi, a Norwegian and two Brits will go on a tour presented by a Cuban-American. The journey begins in mid-September in Atlanta and winds it was through the states until an early October set of shows on the west coast.
Each of the bands were chosen as personal favorites of Hilton. Perretta’s album Out Of My Head, to be released September 7th, is already being held as a contender for best album of 2009 by Hilton. For those fearing this is a sign of End Times, Hilton has music booking experience; he held a show featuring Ladyhawke, Camera Obscura, Laura Cantrell, and Longwave during last year’s SXSW. Not to mention he got his very own imprint from Warner Bros., where he’ll announce his first act shortly.
Finally, Hilton can do for music what he did for blogging.

Ughhh, unfortunately the the good people touring has no idea what a d bag he is. That said I just discovered Ladyhawke and would like to see her but not with his name attached to the show.
