If you wondering, which you probably were (unlike that other band), The Flaming Lips have announced the last remaining details pertaining to their latest studio album. Embryonic, the band’s 12th full-length overall, now sports an October 13th release date and this mind-numbing (literally) artwork.

What’s more, the band has unveiled another sneak peak at the album, this in the form of a rather noisy track titled “Silver Trembling Hands”. Head over to Pitchfork to check it out.

Why would you wonder about Weezer? They haven’t written a good album since Pinkerton.
The tracks so far have been outstanding and I’m truly looking forward to hearing the rest. I love the fact that after all these years, the Lips can keep it fresh while still pushing their boundaries. With an incredible live show to boot! I hope they give a big dose of new tracks for the upcoming tour.
i actually wasn’t wondering about this album and i was wondering about weezer.
