Late Night Lobotomy (Week of 8/17)
I’m not even going to harp on our late night hosts for slacking off this week. Instead I’ll commend Letterman for showing up for work this week and leave it at that.
New or old, musical acts this week are rather pleasing. Sure, Daughtry ain’t our thing, but La Roux, The Dead Weather, and Friendly Fires are. You should also check out Martha Wainwright, who has a sweet voice but sings one of the most profanely titled songs in folk rock.
