Kay Kay and His Weathered Underground stream new unreleased album

While many bands are left struggling to connect with fans and giving them a reason to buy (CwF + RtB), acts like HEALTH are giving away “prizes” and Radiohead are leaking its own songs. We can now add Kay Kay and His Weathered Underground into the fray as well.

Having just completed its sophomore full length, tentatively titled Introducing Kay Kay and His Weathered Underground, just last week, the Seattle based indie outfit has decided to make it available to it’s fans, immediately. Not just one or three tracks, but the entire damn thing. Yes, despite the fact the band is still finalizing the official release plans, the album is currently streaming in its entirety on the band’s MySpace. Head here to find the accompanying lyrics for sing-a-longs.

No point in having others leak your material when you can drum up the interest yourself…

Even though no tour plans have been announced, the band will be playing at this year’s Bumbershoot Festival taking place Septmeber 5th through the 7th in its hometown Seattle, Washington.
