Red Hot Chili Peppers are enthusiastic… again!
“After being kind of burnt at the end of our last tour, I feel major enthusiasm and vigor,” explained Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Flea in a recent interview with Rolling Stone. “Not like a restlessness, but a really healthy excitement. I’m just into it and ready to go forward.”
Of course, the bassist is referencing the end of the band’s self-imposed two year hiatus and plans to hit the studio this fall to begin work on a new studio album. Specifics have yet to be shared, but as frontman Anthony Kledis added in that same interview, “The seeds are being planted.”
In other news, Peppers’ drummer Chad Smith does realize he looks like Will Ferrell.

RHCP’s last 3 cds were awesome! It’s like winning the superbowl, world series and olympic gold medal three times in a row when one of your favorite bands release back to back kick ass material. I’m looking forward to the next one. Their tunes are the background music to my life.
