A plan some five years in the making, German electro-giants Kraftwerk are set to re-release eight previous albums. This comes after a spurt of 2008 U.S. dates, a rare occurrence in the last quarter of a century, which included a stop at Coachella Music & Arts Festival. Due for release on October 5th, 12345678 The Catelogue will span the group’s entire impressive discography, including Autobahn (1974), Radio-Activity (1975), Trans Europe Express (1977), The Man Machine (1978), Computer World (1981), Techno Pop (1986), The Mix (1991), and Tour De France (2003).
All this of course comes after a spurt of 2008 U.S. dates, a rare occurrence in the last quarter of a century, which included a stop at Coachella Music & Arts Festival. As it stands now, the band’s only other upcoming activity of note is the electronic headlining spot at this years Bestival, set for September 11-13 at Isle of Wight.
