Update: Wale, N.E.R.D., J. Cole to open for Jay-Z
As previously reported, Jay-Z has tapped a fine collection of opens to support him on his upcoming North American tour. Only it’s not entirely who we originally thought/Wale tweeted. Joining Hova in support of The Blueprint 3 will be Wale, N.E.R.D. (perhaps with a new fourth female member?), and Jay-Z protégé J. Cole. Unfortunately, Lupe didn’t make the cut. Still not bad, eh?

I wonder if the Vanderbilt show in Nashville on Nov. 13th will feature the same openers. N.E.R.D. tried hard to incite a riot at Rites of Spring, so something tells me they might be sitting that one out.
