The title is a little misleading, as the 15-track effort couldn’t be more about the audience what with the fact that it is available as a free digital download via the band’s website. But aside from this and the lineup, there isn’t much of a difference between this album and its predecessor, 1995′s Meet The Real You. “The principle is the same: everything recorded quickly, in my bedroom, with lots of stupid arbitrary rules like no mic-stands,” he noted.
For those in need of a quick history lesson, Noise Addict was formed in 1992 by a then 13-year-old Lee. Its EP, The Taste in My Eyes, caught the attention of the Beastie Boys’ Mike D, who would go on to sign the outfit to Grand Royal Records. A debut LP, the aforementioned Meet The Real You, followed, but the band would ultimately disband soon after its release with Lee moving on to embark on a successful solo career.
Now that you know, go get it.
