    Well I am happy that you can so blissfully yet obliviously pretend that Passion Pit and Hockey are “favorite” sets. Are they even bands anymore? Ha ha, don’t answer. Life must be nice for you. Easy, right? Simple, right? Unexamined, right? Anyways I didn’t mean to barge in and disrupt you from watching The Bachelor or whatever other equally embarrassing thing you are doing right now that I am sure you feel others should just shut up about if they don’t like it because taste is, like, an opinion man. You’re right, some people like the taste of shit. They have weird opinions I guess?

    Your blend of “must watch bands” sure paints a pretty picture of the discernible taste you’ve clearly developed (Beach Boys fans are usually Skrillex fans. Yup…) to allow you both the gall and pedestal to even pretend for one second you know anything about music and how any other person should react to it. You are the Weathervane who refuses to admit that they are directed by the wind and instead would chooses so embarrassingly and cringe worthily to declare for all to see that you  in fact the one who chooses the directions and anyone who wants to be a downer and tell you no, well then they are clearly idiots. Yes it sure is clear who is the idiot.

    Wow this lineup is so much weaker than I expected. Definitely no wow factor. Coachella by far has a superior lineup. The bottom of this lineup alone isn’t enough to get me to fork out the dough to get down there and deal with the long lines, heat, etc. Sasquatch is decent this year but not great. Damn I really wanted to avoid Lolla this year but I may not have a choice.

    after 11 years it’s kind of hard to “wow” people unless they go insane with their budget.  Ignore the first four lines of this lineup and look at the bottom. Our festivals are turning into Europe where many bands hit the same fests. Obviously RHCP (who promised they weren’t doing any festivals) along with Radiohead look like our festival whores for the year.  But honestly, who cares.  You’re seeing RHCP and Radiohead.

     They really have some solid underground and up and coming artists.  Dawes, Gary Clark Jr, Two Door Cinema, Tune-Yards, St. Vincent, SBTRKT, The Antlers, The Joy Formidable, Tuneyards, Young the Giant, The Lonely Forest, The Black Lips, Alabama Shakes, Battles, Kooks, Das Racist, the war on drugs…. hell i could keep going but I have to get back to work.  The middle and bottom of this lineup is fantastic.  I would be beyond happy if half of these bands come to South Florida……Trust me, Langerado would have sold out if this was the bottom of the lineup.

    Overall nothing spectacular here. The Beach Boys are a good get, but the rest of it is predictable and for the most part we’ve seen most of it before. The first inclination, as with Coachella, was not a wow at all.

    Pretty happy … if Prince & Jack White were on it I would have had an accident in my shorts … always wanted to see Ludacris & Black Star … can’t wait for a lot of the bottom of the lineup stuff … Gary Clark Jr., Grouplove, Alabama Shakes, Joy Formidable, etc … no Danzig? WTF?
