Lady Gaga replaces Kanye with Cudi, announces winter tour

With Kanye apparently hanging out in India, Lady Gaga has pieced together a last minute North American tour.

The headlining venture, titled “The Monster Ball,” will kick off on November 27th in Montreal and run until mid-January before ending with two nights in New York City. A “multimedia artistic experience in the style of the first-ever ‘pop electro opera’” is promised, as is Kid Cudi, aka The Man on the Moon, who will serve as the Gaga’s opener.

The tour will begin just three days after Gaga will release The Fame Monster, a two-disc reiusse of her full-length debut (find the recently released tracklisting below).

As MTV reports, while Gaga is expected to play all her hits on the tour, she warned her fans to be ready for the new material as well. “A message to all my little monsters: The Fame Monster will come out four days before the first live show,” she said. “You have exactly 96 hours to learn all of the lyrics so you can sing along. Dress accordingly.”

Gaga’s also reportedly teaming up with Beyonce for a new music video. Needless to say, there is a lot to gaga about these days.

  1. Meh. Nah.

I just find Kanye more exciting, somehow. Maybe someday, Lady G.

  2. at least she’s playing for her fans. who cares if it’s a club, theatre or arena. plus, in mos tof the major markets, she is playing large venues/multiple nights.

  3. agreed kanye the rapper and producer is awesome…just not a dude I want to spend a night hanging out with…which could probably be said for a lot of musicians they just don’t act like idiots in front of us like Kanye does

  4. theres no one better than kanye at what he does. he just needs to chill the fuck out.

  5. She replaced him? I don’t know about that. She went from playing arenas with kanye to playing theaters with Cudi.

  6. Good for her. Lady Gaga’s better alone without Kanye.

  7. Okay, now this is more like it…
