Update: Kweli, DOOM, Madlib, Kanye collaboration not actually happening
Well, I guess not everything can be perfect.
Updating a story we reported on last week, it turns out that a collaboration between high-profile hip-hoppers Talib Kweli, DOOM, Madlib, and Kanye West won’t actually be happening. The sad news comes from Mr. Kweli, the man who got the whole rumor started in the first place, in an interview with XXLMag.com.
“There was no song, I only said I was in the studio chillin’ with Ye, Madlib and Doom and the world assumed we was working on a song,” Kweli explained. “We was drinking lol,” he continued. “Not Ye though.” So, there.
In other news, Ye is apparently in India.
