Pulp eyeing reunion at Glastonbury 2010
“Glastonbury means an awful lot to me, I would love to play there again. We’ve talked about it, there we go, there’ll be a band reunion,” answered frontman Jarvis Cocker when asked by Katie Hind (of People.co.uk) about the prospects of a Pulp reunion. Thankfully, we got some reissues to ease the wait until June 24, 2010…

Of course they would do other shows besides Glasto. Glasto is the one that matters to them emotionally, but does not pay that much, so the other shows would be for the money. 2 million pounds for two shows at V or Reading/Leeds versus 200,000 pounds at Glasto.
To me now the main stage has just about become the cabaret stage..which serves no other real purpose but to entertain office workers either trying to regain their youth or fancy abit of rough by fly some stupid flag.
I appreciate this a exaggeration, but I feel there is alot of truth in it.
All that is fine, but when it takes over..as I feel it has. It needs readdressing.
This year the main stage sounds like it’s going to be even worse. If Pulp want to do a ‘greatest hits’ package..well whatever. After leaving for all this time..I think it would be a real shame to return under this banner.
I would love Pulp to come back, but at least with a sense of purpose…they have left it this long. Might as well do the job properly in my mind. New album e.t.c.
NO WAY! I really really hope it is true. Though they should play in more places besides Glasto. PLS *-*
I know t’is the season of 90’s band reunion (pavement, blur, etc…) but I’m doubtful of this one. The guys of Pulp have move on to greater things. But it would be cool if this would happen. Now is the best time to do it since Jarvis has the momentum. And if this happens, I hope they get Russell Senior on the team.
This just made my day, hopefully they will play Coachella this year.
US warmup tour including Coachella! Then Glasto, V, Oxegen, Benicassim, Fuji, etc.
Coachella as well please.
where does he state glasto 2010?
Always loved Pulp and always hated they never got bigger in the states.
No assist? No thank you?
