New Eminem track, “Taking My Ball”, leaks
Beyond the the special turntable and hard shell case that converts into a stand, the forthcoming DJ Hero Renegade Edition includes exclusive greatest-hits CDs from two of the game’s creative consultants, Jay-Z and Eminem. This is especially a big deal because included on Eminem’s compilation will be a number of deeper and more and rare cuts from his discography, highlighted by a brand new song called “Taking My Ball”.
And as we know now, thanks to the advent of the internet, you don’t have gamer and/or willing to pay the game’s $120 price tag to get a listen to the track.
Yes, all one needs to do is search Google to find “Taking My Ball”, which according to Rolling Stone, is a leftover from the Relapse sessions. The song itself is a bit dated — it does after all follow Relapse’s “We Made You” and pokes fun at such they’re-so-2008 celebrities as Tara Reid, Mischa Barton, and Rosie O’Donnell McDonald. But hey, it’s something to hold you over until Relapse 2 surfaces.
DJ Hero and DJ Hero Renegade Edition will both be released October 27th.
