U2 plots more North American tour dates
Still looking to break even on its oh so elaborate 360 world tour, U2 has mapped out a new round of North American tour dates for next summer. The tour will touch down in Anaheim starting June 6, 2010 and will continue on to Denver, Oakland, Seattle, Edmonton, East Lansing, Toronto, Chicago, Miami, Philadelphia, Montreal, and New York (but no Manchester?) in the weeks that follow. Then, it’s back to Europe for a previously announced European leg of dates.
For a preview of what’s to come, might we suggest you read Michael Roffman’s review of last month’s performance in Chicago and/or hit YouTube where last night’s concert in Los Angeles is currently being streamed in its entirety.
Tickets for the newly announced dates will go on sale beginning Monday, November, 2nd via Ticketmaster.com. Of course, subscribers of U2.com will get first crack at pre-sale tickets.

Does anyone have a presale code for the Edmonton show?
Bad enough for next summer… two dates are for this month… NEXT YEAR!
Isn’t it a little wierd selling tickets for next summer in November. WTF!
I’m really ready for U2 to hang up the cleats for about 10-15 years.
This means I’ll have to go, even though I hate Soldier Field on principle.
it’s not like outdoor concerts in north america are a new thing during the summer months!
yep, f’ck this one is going to be hot….
Seriously… and isn’t that stadium gonna have a new name by that point.
yeah… Miami in July…. brilliant f’ing planning
