OMFG, Redux: 3OH!3 teams up with Katy Perry for music video
So, a while back we told you about the uber amazing collaboration between the pop sensation 3OH!3 and Rivers Cuomo’s favorite person in the world, Katy Perry. It just so turns out that the collaboration, which resulted in a rework of 3OH!3’s song “Starstrukk”, also happened to spawn a music video for the song. You can check it out the masterpiece below… I smell a VMA!
“Katy did this ’cause we had, like, a million dollars,” 3OH!3’s Sean Foreman joked to MTV about the video. “No, Katy did this because we toured with Katy, we are good friends with Katy and we worked on the song together — we worked on the remix together.” How many times can you include Katy in a sentence?
Oh, and in case you were wondering, the song also will appear in the upcoming film When In Rome, which stars Will Arnett. So, at least one good thing came out of this news.

3OH!3 is living proof that the only way for mainstream music to have some sense of talent/creative integrity restored to their name is for the apocalypse to happen and completely wipe the world clean.
History Channel, hopefully you’re recent obsession with end of the world scenarios is right.
Please be right.
