Another week; another smattering of musicians. You can tell that summer festival season is officially over because what we’ve got this week is all over the place. Remember when you could count on seeing Phoenix on at least one show every week because they were basically at every festival known to man? Not anymore.

In fact, if this week’s lineup were the roster for a festival, it’d be pretty great. Or horrific, depending on how you look at things. I mean, Rod Stewart, Weird Al, Andrew Bird, and Sting? That’s some kind of Halloweenish beautiful. Also worth DVR-ing are guitar virtuosos Rodrigo y Gabriela and one of 2009′s It acts, Florence and the Machine.
