Despite being 11 months away and a location in doubt, ATP New York has already begun planning its 2010 festivities, as evident by the following news (via BV): During an appearance at the Barnes & Noblie in Tribeca, NY to promote a new book about The Stooges, frontman Iggy Pop confirmed that his recently reunited outfit will be playing at ATP New York 2010.

In case you forgot, The Stooges are already confirmed for another ATP event at London’s Hammersmith Apollo in May, where they’ll be performing Raw Power in its entirety. No word on whether they’ll be doing the same thing at ATP NY as well, or if Pavement will hopefully be joining them on the 2010 bill. But we can certainly hope for both.
