Hot Chip announces 2010 return
Hot Chip will return next year, following a year long absence and the offering of two solo albums, with the release of the yet-to-be-titled followup to 2008’s masterful Made in the Dark. The effort, which looks to be a two-disc, CD/DVD affair, will hit stores in early 2010 — “to warm the cockles of your soul right in the middle of the bleak mid-winter, the band explains — and will be supported by a newly announced 12-date U.K. tour (with more dates surely to follow). Oh, and a preview of what is to come can be heard right this very second as the band is offering a new track (for free) to anyone who pre-orders the album via its website.
