Carbon/Silicon give away another album

In the least surprising news of the day (we’ll tell you in a minute if you don’t know why), Carbon/Silicon, the British based outfit that features former Clash guitarist Mick Jones and Generation X bassist Tony James, has announced plans to release a brand new studio album for free download.

The effort, titled The Carbon Bubble, will be available to fans worldwide through carbonsiliconinc.com starting at noon tomorrow, November 14th. In addition to the album’s 12 tracks, which were all written by Jones and James, fans can download the complete cover artwork for the project, which includes high resolution booklet artwork for each track.

The album will mark the Carbon/Silicon’s 12th digital release since forming in 2002 and the fourth which has been released for free download. The band has also celebrated five physical releases, the most recent being the single “Why Do Men Fight?” in 2008.

  1. Damn, they’ve released 12 albums since 2010? That’s talent.

I’m beginning to see a trend, Alex. No proofreading.
