The xx attempt to tour ever city and country before inevitable breakup
Our cynical title aside, there is no denying the fact that The xx will virtually be spending six straight months on the road in support of its self-titled debut. And that’s following two previous months of dates and an appearance at CMJ 2009, which was like a small tour in itself.
The latest round of additions to the itinerary (which of course will be sans ex-guitarist Baria Qureshi) will see the English outfit team up Swedish natives and fellow lower case lovers jj for a round of U.S. engagements. These will follow lengthy treks across the U.K., Europe, Australia, and even Singapore and will proceed another round of tour dates with Hot Chip, ones which include an appearance at next year’s Coachella Music Festival. Got all that? If you don’t, we suggest you scroll below for a full list of confirmed dates.
