Past Lives caught in Tapestry of Webs this February

Post-punk band Past Lives is looking towards the future as the Seattle rockers prep their debut record, Tapestry of Webs, for a February 23rd release. Produced by Steve Fisk (Nirvana, Harvey Danger) and created this past summer in both Seattle’s Avast! studios and Fisk’s home recording den, the album will be offered through Suicide Squeeze Records.

According to a press release, Tapestry of Webs crawls from the primordial ooze of anti-parent culture to stand on newly formed legs. From tom-toms locked in hypnotics BPM to guitars moving between pop, ethereal tones, and raw rhythms, the album explores everyday life through the eyes of uncertainty and doubt. The whole web scene definitely seems appropriate after reading that. Looks like this album will be weaving in a whole bunch of directions.
