Confirmed: The Who to perform at Super Bowl XLIV
Earlier this month, we reported that Sports Illustrated had leaked the news that The Who would be performing at this season’s upcoming Super Bowl, more specifically Super Bowl XLIV. Well, give it to the sports guys, as they were right. Who would’ve thought?
On Thursday, the NFL issued the official news during the Turkey toss up between the Oakland Raiders and Dallas Cowboys. People should be stoked, as we’re likely to hear America’s greatest TV themes — “Baba O’Riley”, “Won’t Get Fooled Again”, and “Who Are You” — all while we munch down on America’s greatest heart attack-inducing goodies.
It all goes down February 7th at Dolphin’s Stadium in Miami, FL.
