With every passing day, the drama surrounding the life and times of Aerosmith gets more and more compelling. After all, just a day after we told you that frontman Steven Tyler quit the band in favor of a solo career following a Twitter war with guitarist Joe Perry (ok, so that’s not exactly true, but it went something like that!), comes word that the band has not broken up, but is currently looking for Tyler’s replacement.

These latest pieces of news came Monday, following Perry’s revelation that Tyler had left the band. On Monday night, Perry wrote on his Twitter that “Aerosmith is definitely not breaking up” and is instead “positively looking for a new singer to work with.”

In an interview with WPLR (New Haven, CT 99.1) yesterday, drummer Joey Kramer further emphasized the fact that the band is not breaking up by saying, “No, the band didn’t break up.”

Now that we got that covered, how’s this little piece of info: According to Showbiz411 (via TDS), sources close to Tyler say he is “in terrible trouble” and fear for his life.

Pople who know the deal with Tyler say two things are contributing to his downfall: much loathed girlfriend Erin Brady and newish best pal, Justin Murdock, 35, heir to the Dole Pineapple fortune. Friends say Murdock, who’s been photographed going into nightclubs with Tyler, is helping the historically drug addicted singer live on the Pineapple Express by allowing him to party hard.
