Rather than angering too many diehard Weezy fans by introducing the following news about how the New Orleans rapper looks like he might actually release the greatest rock ‘n’ roll album known to man (even though in reality we know that based on the first single that couldn’t be further from the truth) before he heads to prison next year, let’s just get right into it:

On December 15th, some 10 months after it was originally scheduled to be released, Lil Wayne will release his new rock-oriented album, Rebirth, via Universal Music Group. The record will be packaged as a dual-disc along with the Young Money collective, We Are Young Money (via Billboard).

Weezy is also rumored to be releasing the next chapter in Tha Carter series before the year is out. So, expect more news in the future (and yes, we are banking on another release date delay to be included in said news.)
