This Saturday, November 7th, Springsteen and his E Street Band will finally perform their sophomore record, 1973′s The Wild, The Innocent & The E Street Shuffle, when they hit up Madison Square Garden. This only seems natural considering the album’s storyline roughly takes place around the Big Apple, and well, what better way to charm the city than with songs like “Rosalita (Come Out Tonight)” and “New York City Serenade”. But that’s not all, either. On the following night, the band will work through, yes, the epic 1980 double album, The River. Come to think of it, that’s a whole set list right there, starting with the soulful favorite “The Ties That Bind” and concluding with “Wreck on the Highway”.
So, if anyone’s heading to the Garden this weekend, consider yourself one lucky son of a bitch.
