Clearly not content with dominating the female RnB scene, Beyonce has set her eyes firmly on crossover material. In her recent interview with The Guardian, the wife of Jay-Z spoke of her desire to continually push the boundaries, and perhaps not in the way you would expect; her little sister Solange Knowles picked up interest with her cover of Dirty Projectors’ “Stillness Is The Move”, but Beyonce may go one better:

“There’s so many people I’d like to work with still, but I’d like to maybe go outside of the box. My sister [Solange] has put me on to bands like Of Montreal and some other different types of artists. I would love to do something like that on my next album.”

It’s unclear whether Queen B merely likes the music or she intends to branch out, but some “Video Phone (ft. Lady Gaga)” antics could be planned. Kevin Barnes, watch your back.
