Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck team up for U.S. dates
While the actuality of his rumored new supergroup remains to be seen, Eric Clapton will participate in at least one high-profile collaboration in 2010. Following up a performance in Tokyo earlier this year, Clapton will reunite with the equally legendary Jeff Beck for three dates in the U.S. next February.
As it stands now, the high-profile duo will visit New York, Toronto, and Montreal just days after the two take part in a previously announced Feb. 13-14 engagement at London’s O2 Arena. According to Billboard, all the dates will likely feature solo sets by both Clapton and Beck as well as a collaborative finale set. For example, in Tokyo earlier this year, that portion of the show featured songs such as “Outside Woman Blues”, “Brown Bird”, “Wee Baby”, “You Need Love”, and “Want To Take You Higher”. Evidence below.
Tickets for the Toronto show go on sale Friday (Dec. 4th), with Montreal tickets on sale the following day. New York tickets will be available Dec. 12th. Tickets can be found via Ticketmaster.com.

Oh my god. This just made my morning! GOOD MORNING CLAPTON AND BECK!
Where is Jimmy Page when you need him??
Great to see these two realizing what they needed to do to create some more buzz around their careers.
But if we got the full Yardbirds guitar trio together…
Now that would be something!
Neither Montreal nor Toronto are in the U.S.
