On March 30th, the L.A. based, all girls, formerly? lo-fi (see below) outfit known as the Dum Dum Girls will look to make good on their recently signed contract with Sub Pop Records with the release of their debut full-length, I Will Be. As the Seattle based label explains, the 11-track, 30-minute effort was produced by Dee Dee and Richard Gottehrer (Blondie, The Raveonettes) and will see hear the quartet “neither lo-fi nor too polished.” Instead, “it’s a short tribute to love, fun and the classic pop form of the ’60’s girl groups and early punk rockers.” Sounds fun.
