Back in the late 90’s any self respected female attended Lilith Fair — after all, it was thee place to catch every and any female performer that mattered at the time. Ten years later, the festival returns and nothing’s changed. If anything, the female-charged fiesta is better than ever, at least judging from the new line up.
Today, Lilith founders Terry McBride and Sarah McLachlan dropped the jaw dropping roll call, which includes everyone from all-stars like Erykah Badu and Mary J. Blidge to indie darlings Tegan & Sarah and Metric. Familiar faces like McLachlan, Indigo Girls, Sugarland, and Sheryl Crow will help rope in younger talent like Colbie Caillat, Corinne Bailey Rae, and Chantal Kreviazuk. But really, just take a look at the whole list…

Everyone should definitely check out Vedera on this tour. Great pop songwriting that reminds me a lot of the Cranberries. There’s a bunch of their stuff up on their myspace page. Give em a listen! http://www.myspace.com/vedera
Explain to me how Chantal Kreviazuk is younger talent…
It is an awesome lineup. Though I’d rather see Feist or My Brightest Diamond in place of the other indie darlings. Personal preference of course.
I am hip to the history.
Just thought I’d throw in some interweb sarcasm.
What? No Amanda Palmer?! WTF is that all about?!
Wow… Girl power much?
Put where is Miley Cyrus?
