Faces beware, here come some more glow sticks. These warnings brought to you in part by the announcement of a new album: The Disco Biscuits‘ Planet Anthem is due out February 2nd, 2010. But don’t sweat the wait, this Philly foursome will end its 14th year in existence with a ridiculous five-night set in New York City at the Nokia Theatre.

Their upcoming LP may be the Philadelphia jammers’ first album in seven years, but it’s not like they’ve been gone all this time — we  all know they have been touring extensively since and continue to tour even now, as evident below. Word is, this new album could be a step in a different direction, as it includes multiple producers, songwriters, as well as outside musicians including Don Cheegro and Dirty Harry (Ludacris, Chris Brown, Beanie Sigel). Their two most recent EPs On Time (released October 11th) and Widgets (unannounced date) will/have been released on their current tour and have given fans a taste of what’s to come on February 2nd. Of course, you can also get a preview in the form of “One Time” below.

If I had to bet, I’d say we’re in for something strange, buttery and delicious.
