A little while back, the English outfit known as Field Music announced plans to introduce America to its new extended lineup by teaming up with the recently reunited Pulsars for a rather high-profile one-off in Brooklyn. But then co-founder David Brewis came down with swine flu and the band was forced to cancel the performance, as well as one in Chicago.
Now healthy and ready to make good on the band’s promised return, Field Music has mapped out new dates for New York and Chicago, as well as a few other choice locations in support of the February 16th release of its new studio album, Measure.
The trek, which is scheduled for March, currently spans seven dates and will follow a number of U.K. performances in February. For a taste of what’s to come, check out Measure’s title track below (via Spinner). Tracklist follows.

smelling some coachella dates everyone comes to the west coast between april and july
I would almost go anywhere in CA to see these guys. They are the one band I wish to see but have not yet.
Midwest, not mideast. My bad! Not Iran!
I was thinking that between the months of March and April, they’d add some west coast dates because if you look at the current itinerary, it’s pretty much just the mideast and east coast.
No LA date, definitely playing Coachella!
