The website Archive.org hosts a free download of each track “sold” separately in MP3, FLAC, and even Ogg Vorbis format with all Metadata intact. Adding intrigue to infamy, Harvey Danger unveiled a new song — its last under the Harvey Danger moniker — appropriately titled “The Show Must Not Go On” that was initially rumored to become a single studio release in September. The setlist is a barrage of favorites from all three albums in the band’s catalog, and alongside this new song, a fitting finale for Chicagoans and overall fans alike that were not lucky enough to see any stops during the farewell tour.
Unless this winds up being another empty threat of permanent retirement via Sean Nelson sometime in the next 10 years, we can be certain that everyone who has followed this outfit’s underrated career track will be pleased with such a perfect ending. While those of you who actually care remain content in sinking amongst your collections of “little round mirrors”, I say cheers to the boys and wish them luck on future endeavors. We will always have Seattle and a King James Version we can truly count on.
