Here are two things we’re not at all surprised to report:

Lil Wayne and 11 members of his traveling entourage were briefly detained by US Border Patrol officers after marijuana was found on two tour buses over the weekend. The rapper, who was forced to postpone a Friday night concert in Texas because of the incident, is already scheduled to appear in a New York court room on February 2nd, where he is to be sentenced for attempted gun possession stemming from a 2007 arrest in Manhattan.

Across the pond, Pete Doherty, formerly of The Libertines/currently of Babyshambles, followed up last month’s controversial Nazi performance with what is probably his 14,000th arrest. And get this: It happened just moments after sentencing on a separate charge! LOL. According to Gigwise, earlier this morning, Doherty was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled drug shortly after being ordered to pay £2,050 in fines and banned from driving for 18-months resulting from a drunk driving arrest last June. The singer was taken from the court directly to the police station. Oh yeah, and the arrest comes just days after Doherty was taken into custody in Germany following an altercation outside a pub. Yep, you can’t make this stuff up.
