The Ultra Music Festival will return to Miami’s Bicentennial Park next March and, as Consequence of Sound has learned, the lineup for its 12th incarnation will once again feature music’s biggest electric, house, and trance acts.
Deadmau5, Tiesto, Groove Armada, Swedish House Mafia, and The Crystal Method have been tapped to headline this year’s festivities, set to take from March 26-27. Also scheduled to appear are The Disco Biscuits, Faithless Sound System, Ghostland Observatory, Infected Mushroom, the Black Eyed Peas’ Will.i.am, Armin van Buren, and Carl Cox, who will perform twice during the festival.
As a whole, the phase one portion of Ultra Music Festival 2010 looks like this:
A-Trak, Above & Beyond, Afrobeta, Alex Metric, Armin van Buren, ATB, Bassbin Twins vs. Uberzone, Bassnectar, The Bloody Beetroots, Carl Cox, Crookers, The Crystal Method, Deadmau5, Diplo, The Disco Biscuits, Dirty South, Eddie Halliwell, Eric Prydz, Evil Nine, Faithless Sound System, Felix da Housecat, Freeland, Ghostland Observatory, The Glitch Mob, Green Velvet, Groove Armada, Infected Mushroom, Kevens, Lotus, LTJ Bukem, Major Lazer, Plump DJs, Pretty Lights, Rabbit in the Moon (3D), Rusko, Skream, Steve Aoki, Swedish House Mafia, Tiesto, Will.i.am
Additional acts will be revealed in the coming weeks.
Advance two-day and VIP passes are currently available for purchase. Head to ultramusicfestival.com for additional details.
As mentioned, the festival takes place from March 26-27, 2010 in Miami, Florida. It will serve as the closing event for the annual, equally electro heavy Winter Music Conference.
Hat tip to Nicholas for the help…

Wolfgang Gartner please
lineup is solid and I’m still holding out for Daft Punk closing Saturday….. Last year Prodigy closed and they were added late….
Anyone who is hating on PHASE 1 of this lineup must be on some serious METH! This shit is going to be FIRE as FUCK! Also, anyone who hates on The Disco Biscuits is a fuckin homo. The Biscuits bring the LURKS out of the woodwork and will show you all how to RAGE. I cant wait for Phase 2 and 3…Time to commence LURKING!
Fuck ya! Eddie Halliwell is amazing! And Deadmau5! Woo Hoo!
lame line-up
Awesome lineup! Shaping up to be one of the best UMF yet. Here is a great link for WMC 2010 info.
GOD I would love to see Empire of the Sun and Calvin Harris added to this line-up. Also, Pendulum was the best act I saw last year…..it would own to see them again.
This could be the final lineup and it would be worth the price
CANT wait for UMF this year. I am so happy that they are going outside the box by adding excellent live electronic bands into the set like LOTUS and of course THE DISCO BISCUITS. Not to mention all of the other good acts that havnt been on the lineup before. New artists bring new flavor and excitement to this already stellar festival and I cant wait for the next two installments of artists. RAGE!
For those wondering who’s on what day….I was handed a flyer in Miami tonight with Phase 1. Two more phases to come still. And its impressive in my opinion. Probably a few big names still to be added to Saturday.
Friday March 26: Tiesto, Swedish House Mafia, Eric Prydz, Crystal Method, Carl Cox, Dirty South, Rabbit in the Moon in 3D, Infected Mushroom, Felix da housecat, Disco Biscuits, Bassbin twins vs. Uberzone, Lotus, Will I am, Freeland, Pretty lights, Green Velvet, Evil Nine, Kevens, Afrobeta, Plump Djs.
Saturday March 27: Deadmau5, Groove Armada, Carl Cox, Faithless Sound System, Armin Van Buuren, Above and Beyond, Crooksters, ATB, Bassnectar, Steve Aoki, Bloody Beetroots, Eddie Halliwell, Ghostland, Major Lazer, Glitch Mob, Diplo, Atrak, Rusko, Skream, Bukem.
still missing langerado……..
BOTTOM F-IN LINE!
biscuits will blow all of your f-in minds and you will all lap it up like seratonin saturated vomit from the gills!
disco biscuits do NOT blow dick . THEY RAGE! especially at festivals!
wow, ULTRA’s lineup is composed of a bunch of hands in the air stadium pop electronic acts, who woulda thunk?
No one compare this festival to Bonnaroo, Coachella, or Rothbury…Those are Festivals with ALL types of music…Ultra hand down is the best electronic based festival in the world with Creamfields in UK a far second place away and then maybe some aussie festivals
I’m am completely impressed so far.. After last years booking of Cut Copy , Late of the Pier and others like The presets I have all confidence that Ultrais finally going after the best and newest stuff out. Anything but the typical PVD, Tiesto, blah blah blah..So Glad to see Bassnectar, Skream, Rusko, Ghostland Observatory, Glitch Mob, Bloody Beetroots again…All I need now is Fake Blood, Yuksek, and hopefully Empire Of The Sun and I will be set!!! Still thinking we may see Royksopp, Basement Jaxx, or Calvin harris added to a headliner spot…and hopefully some chase and status again
Biscuits!!!! nice. Should be a great time.
Ultra still wins hands down compared to similar festivals I’ve been to, such as EDC, TAO, etc. EDC has MAJOR problems with the flow of people getting in and out of that stadium in LA, and had NO music on the main stage for a FULL hour in 09 because a speaker blew out, or Benny was running late. Cant have that when people are spending big money to come to town and see a good show. Much better flow and variety at Ultra in Mia. Just my opinion. And comparing Ultra to Coachella is apples/oranges, 2 comp diff festivals. Coachella would be my 2nd fave though of that size.
Not great compared to past lineups but not terrible either.
stop hatin. this shit is going to be badass.
Everyone is always so quick to pass judgement on a lineup, when its not even half complete yet. 2 more phases to come with this festival. Then go ahead and yay or nay. lol. Plus even with this lineup, still stronger than any other festivals of its type out there. House, techno, etc.
ha. and what festivals are you speaking of
Disco biscuits blow dick, especially at festivals
Mothafuggin Disco Biscuits!!!! I’m gonna puke all over ultra’s face

Wow. Is it possible to be overwhelmed and underwhelmed at the same time? Lotus? That’s awesome. Ghostland? Disco Biscuits. Ultra is certainly reaching out of it’s tight sphere…maybe because of Langerado’s absence?
Excited about Groove Armada. Always excited for Uberzone.
Crystal Method? Geez. One idiot jumping up and down while the other guy does all the work. I guess that keeps pogo boy from shutting off the equipment…accidently, as I’ve seen him do several other times. Yay!
I was hoping Thievery Corporation would finally get thier dues here. Of course, there will be at least two more line-up announcements. Goldfrapp has an new album coming out around that time.
Groove Armada is live. So is Crystal Method and Alex Metric, for that matter.
BTW Rabbit in the moon will also be there. There was a symbol on the flyer I didn’t recognize, and I identified it as his logo. RABBIT IN THE MOON 3D
