For the four time in four years, Massive Attack will tour the United States. In support of the band’s recently released LP #5, Heligoland, the duo of Robert “3D” Del Naja and Grant “Daddy G” Marshall will launch a small, yet long overdue multi-city, multi-date tour this May. Set to begin on May 7th, Massive Attack will perform two nights in Toronto, New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco (with more dates likely to be added down the road) before concluding its travels with a headlining appearance at the Sasquatch! Music Festival. Tickets will go on sale beginning Friday, May March 5th via Ticketmaster.com.
At the same time, the band is also said to be working on a new EP as well as the soundtrack for the forthcoming film Clash of the Titans. More information as it becomes available.

TAGGED AS: Massive Attack
i love massive attack and have been waiting too long for their return. as for the sound academy… seriously? definitely the worst venue in the city, quite possibly ontario.
koolhaus? heck i’d even suggest the ricoh at this point.
I AGREE< SOUND ACADEMY IS FOR STUDENTS!
I loved everything massive attack put out between 1991-1998, but they’re last album was a utter disappointment after waiting 7 years for it to be released. They’re sort of irrelevant at this point, James Lavelle has made much more interesting music of late compared to MA. I guess mushroom really was big part of their group dynamic and the trip hop sound they had when he was with them has been lost for some time.
March 5, that is, for the on-sale. I need an editor.
You mean March 7. This site needs an editor.
TERMINAL 5 WILL KILL THEIR SOUND
the sound academy sucks.
now i’ve got to go there for massive attack, jonsi and the specials.
and i vowed never to step foot in that shithole again. meh.
I’m pleased as punch…. the LA wiltern shows will be quite epic i’m sure. :O)
