Following an already soldout east coast preview this March, Coheed & Cambria will take to the road for a more extensive and high-profile U.S. tour in support of its forthcoming studio album, Year of the Black Rainbow. We say extensive because the trek, which kicks off on April 22nd in Charlotte, is currently scheduled to run over a month, and with a random date already mapped out for late July in Chicago, it’s probably safe to assume even more dates our coming. We say high-profile because Coheed will team up with the likes of Circa Survive and Torche for the roadtrip. Not bad triple bill, huh?

Tickets for the tour will go on sale beginning Saturday, February 20th via Ticketmaster.com. Year of the Rainbow, which will also be available as a super duper deluxe edition, hits shelves on April 13th.
