Since forming in 1995, the Disco Biscuits have formed their own path in the musical environment, fusing the stylistic element of jam bands and electronica. The quintet, currently composed of Allen Aucoin (drums), Marc Brownstein (bass), Jon Gutwillig (guitar), and Aron Magner (keyboard), have toured feverishly over the last decade and a half to spread their unique sound to ever-increasing ears, and have created festivals to help the genre grow.  With their increasing success, fans were anxiously awaiting their fifth studio release, and the first via Diamond Riggs Records, Planet Anthem.

With an original release date set for February 2nd, fans were hoping to be uplifted by the band’s newest vibes, which have been three years in the making; however, the wait has been extended six more weeks until March 16. Unlike Disco Biscuits’ prior releases, Planet Anthem will feature collaborations with multiple producers, songwriters, and outside musicians, including Don Cheegro and Dirty Harry (Ludacris, Chris Brown, Beanie Sigel). According to a recent press release, the album will be filled with sing along melodies and infectious beats, and include an amalgamation of pop, indie dance, hip hop, and straight up rock music.

The band will be bringing this new sound across the country starting in February, including the much anticipated appearance at Miami’s Ultra Music Festival. The Disco Biscuits will also be hosting two events in the upcoming months, Camp Bisco and the second annual Bisco Inferno. Bisco Inferno will be held May 29th, at the iconic Red Rocks, and tickets are currently on sale here. Pre-sale Tickets are also still available  for the ninth installment of Camp Bisco, which will be held mid-July in Mariaville, New York.
