The Strokes are currently recording their fourth studio album. It could possibly be out by September of this year. But that has not stopped frontman Julian Casablancas from rolling out a new round of solo tour dates in support of his recently released solo album, Phrazes for the Young. Nine shows have been announced so far (not including an appearance at Coachella 2010), with more promised in the days ahead. Hopefully, this time around, he’ll actually bring home some money.

The fun kicks off in Atlanta on March 26th and sees Casablancas hitting Charlotte, Baltimore, Sayreville (NJ), Canada, Cleveland, Detroit, and Chicago in the days that follow. Tickets go on sale beginning February 12th (for Atlanta), 17th (for Baltimore), 20th (for Montreal & Chicago), and 19th for everywhere I haven’t mentioned, all via Ticketmaster.com. A pre-sale, for hardcore fans, begins here on the 11th.
