The Radio Dept. is Clinging to a Scheme this April

Goods news for fans of Swedish indie rock outfits! The Radio Dept. will return with its first full-length album in four years, Clinging to a Scheme, on April 21st through Labrador Records.

So what can fans expect from the band’s third studio album? The combination of the best of their two previous albums, Lesser Matters (2003) and Pet Grief (2006), fused into a whirlwind of soul guitars, P-funk, cut/paste beats, and ’70s futuristic orchestra. That’s what.

For an early preview, check out the album’s first single, “David,” which debuted last year and can currently be found on the band’s website.
